Two hands

In the last few days we have been seeing Connor using both hands to play.  He is gainging quite a bit of strenght and mobility in his right hand.  For a while he has been ripping wipes and paper with both hands, and picking up items with his right if his left is otherwise occupied.  He will even hold a basket with his left and pick up toys with his right.  We are big on baskets around here.

But in the last two days we have seen Connor put Lego Duplos together with both hands, pull apart plastic Velcro tomatoes with both hands, and today he was obsessed with this syringe from a veterinarian play-set.  He would pull the plunger out of it  and put it back in. This is HUGE! He needed to have the strength and grip to pull it apart. He would even turn the plunger around in his right hand to line them up correctly to put back together.  He was playing with this little toy for an hour today. He then moved onto the Legos and was intent on putting them together and taking them apart. I think he is making a breakthrough!
