Sometimes I get frustrated with everything. I never imagined what motherhood would be like it is not easy or glamorous. But it is more amazing than I could have ever dreamed.
How can I put into words what Mother's Day means to me?
I have a wonderful mom who has taught me so much. She loved me and fought for me before I was even born. She is the type of mom I want to be. As fierce as a lioness protecting her cubs, she would fight to the ends of the earth for my brothers and I. She is the woman who held me, fed me, clothed me, taught me
right from wrong, who makes laugh, who listens, who is the smartest person I know. I talk to her almost every day. She drives me nuts sometimes but she is the one I need when things are crazy. She is always in my corner and I know she is always in my children's corner. She is the woman who has
loved me unconditionally my entire life.
I thank T.J. for making me a mom and loving me and all my craziness unconditionally. He is the love of my life and my rock!
Mother's Day wouldn't be mother's day without Thomas and Connor. They have made my life complete. Taught me lessons that I could never imagine before. It is as if the world were just colored in shades of grey or muted tones before T.J. and the boys came into my life. My heart is fuller, the world more colorful and bright. I love these guys so much it brings tears to my eyes some days. Their laughter, their smiles, their craziness and silliness I love it. It drives me insane sometimes but I would have it no other way. I have learned so much through my children. Thomas has taught me patience and what motherhood is. Connor has shown me how much like my own mother I could be. I would move heaven and earth for those boys. I will protect and guide them and help them achieve their dreams. And I thank my mom and dad for showing me what parenthood is supposed to be.
Happy Mother's Day Mom! Thank you for being MY mom.
